Delhi CM hands over job letters & health card

Date:

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday handed over job letters to family members and dependents of deceased NDMC employees on compassionate grounds, and distributed health cards to the contractual staff of the civic body, officials said.

Addressing an event organised by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), Gupta said the initiatives will provide crucial support to the employees and their families, and reflect the government’s commitment to employee welfare.

Praising the NDMC for ensuring compassionate appointments for family members of deceased employees, the chief minister said such moves often involve a prolonged administrative process.
