HOUSTON (US): The wait is officially over for the Bayou City. Long celebrated as one of North America’s premier soccer hubs, Houston is finally stepping onto the ultimate global sports stage to welcome the world.
The tournament kicks off here on June 14, with a high-stakes Group E clash between four-time champions Germany and Curaçao.
Standing beneath the venue’s massive video boards during a final pitch inspection, Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann praised the climate-controlled architecture, noting that the temperature controls offer ideal playing conditions away from the notorious Texas summer heat.
